So, many many many days to go yet, but I'm so excited I just *have* to post

We have a date! 14/08/2010 2 weeks after my 27th birthday. I now have a year and a half to plan my arse off! I'll need all this time as I've got to learn some new skills so I can make the dress I want.

Band 1 said they were "doing us a favor" by giving us a certain price. That didn't sound right to me, so I searched out some other bands suggested by friends of mine with more time dedicated to listening to music than I, and it turns out that the band "doing us a favor" was really swindling us ( Read more... )

In all my wedding planning I haven't found much information about hiring a band for the reception. FH and I are huge music lovers and it's important to FH to have a live band at the reception.
